Sarah (Elder) O’Donnell, LISW, PMH-C

With her roots grounded in northwest Ohio, Sarah incorporates the important lessons of acceptance and understanding from her upbringing as well as her personal traits of genuineness and openness into her collaborative therapeutic approach. Several years ago, Sarah moved to Columbus where she earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from The Ohio State University, fell in love with the community, and since decided to settle in the northwest suburbs with her husband and their pup.

Sarah possesses a passion for attending to the whole person, including their social, emotional, spiritual, physical, occupational, environmental and intellectual capacities. In this way, she addresses overall wellness in individuals and their families with the ultimate goal of positive growth in their lives outside of the therapeutic setting.

Sarah also has extensive experience working with teens and young adults with autism and their families, as well as individual work with young adults and adults addressing challenges posed by anxiety, relationships, work, grief, life transitions, self-esteem, and future planning. With a focus on achieving balance in the lives of young adults and adults, Sarah employs her genuine and positive personality to make others feel immediately at ease and to collaboratively develop attainable plans for positive change in their lives.
